Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how to reach us.

We collect the following, as needed to run Vary3D. Essential cookies are described in the Cookie Policy.

• Account: email, username, and password or passkey credentials.
• Public profile: bio and social links you add. These appear on your public profile.
• User content: model code, configurations, covers, and listing text you save or publish.
• Google sign-in (if you use it): verified email, Google account id, and profile photo if Google sends one.
• Technical data from hosting and security: IP address, user agent, approximate location from Cloudflare (country, city, continent), and Cloudflare challenge or Turnstile signals.
• Credits: if you buy credits, Stripe processes the payment. We store purchase records; we do not store full card numbers.

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Vary3D service
• Send important service notifications
• Respond to your inquiries and support requests
• Protect against fraud and abuse
• Translate published listing text so the library can be shown in multiple languages

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We share data only with providers needed to run Vary3D, and only as needed: Cloudflare (hosting and security), Google (if you sign in with Google), Stripe (if you purchase credits), Resend or Brevo (verification and password-reset email), and translation providers (published listing text only).

Account data, model code, and files are stored with infrastructure providers that host Vary3D (including Cloudflare). Those providers process data only to provide hosting.

When you publish, we may send listing text (titles, descriptions, docs, tags, parameter labels) to language-model providers so the library can be shown in multiple languages. We do not send OpenSCAD source, parameter keys, or numeric values for translation. We do not use your model source to train a general-purpose model of our own. Your original text is authoritative.

Your username, public profile, published models, and public comments or discussions are visible to anyone, including search engines. Copies may remain elsewhere after you archive or after an account is closed.

We keep account data while the account exists. If we close an account, we stop using that personal data for the service. Published versions may remain public under Archive rules in the Terms of Service. Essential logs are kept as needed for security and abuse prevention.

Vary3D is hosted on infrastructure that may process data in more than one country (including Cloudflare). We do not claim a United States headquarters.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no internet transmission is completely secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and protect your account.

You can update and correct your profile in account settings. To request a copy of your data or that we close your account, email support@vary3d.com. There is no in-settings deletion. We will handle requests; published models may remain publicly available under the Archive rules in the Terms of Service. We will also close an account if we learn the user is under 13.

We may update this policy and will change the date on this page. For material changes we will try to notify you by email or a notice on the site.
